Enhanced reconstruction in single-beam multiple intensity reconstruction by modulated randomization

Abstract

Single-beam multiple intensity reconstruction is an error-reduction algorithm used in wavefront reconstruction employing intensity measurements in different axial planes and a wave propagation equation. Possible stagnation to a local minimum is thus a drawback of this technique. This paper presents an optimization process to overcome stagnation and produce enhanced reconstruction by applying modulated randomization on the amplitude measurements. The proposed method were validated from the results of simulations and experimental data subjected in this algorithm.
