Abstract

This paper presents the development of a beam model for Varian Clinac 600C medical linear accelerator treatment head using GEANT4 Monte Carlo simulation toolkit. The virtual treatment head was modeled based on the specifications provided by the manufacturer. The validity of the simulation results will be verified by comparison with experimental measurements. GEANT4 continues to be a valuable simulation and modeling tool for radiation therapy applications.
