Abstract

A technique for the identification of areas with a high degree of coherence is demonstrated using digital holography and statistical phase map analysis. Using numerically simulated holograms, two cases are considered: non-
uniform reflectance and complex shaped object. The results showed the effectiveness of the technique compared to the two commonly used techniques using reconstructed amplitude and the evaluation of fringe visibility. © 2013 Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas
