Abstract

An angularly biased random walk, capable of subdiffusive to superdiffusive behavior, is numerically simulated. The angular bias is brought about by mapping a beta distribution to the angles 0 to 2π. Combining different parameters can produce a system with the same diffusiveness but dissimilar movement patterns.
