Finite-part integration in quantum scattering off a one-dimensional first-derivative delta potential
Abstract
Quantum scattering of a one-dimensional δ'-potential is discussed in this paper. The divergent integrals that arise in the solution are interpreted using finite-part integration along a deformed semi-circular contour. Consequently, the deformed contour leads to the interference of the transmission wave and varies the probability amplitudes.
