LED projector-based 3D surface imaging
We have made a projector-based 3D surface imaging setup using low-cost LED projector and webcam. The system uses fringe projection technique. Fringe projection, image acquisition and phase calculation are implemented in a Raspberry Pi. A graphical user interface is provided for ease of use. The results show accurate 3D reconstructions of various objects and we hope that the system can provide a practical solution for 3D imaging and be accessible to more people.
