Transmission properties of thermally oxidized copper oxide thin films

Abstract

Copper oxide films were fabricated by thermal oxidation of thermally evaporated copper films. Film thicknesses vary basing on the transmission spectra of the samples. Results of the study show that the sample oxidized at 180°C have a spectral region of 610nm - 615nm with transmission peak around 15%. Samples oxidized at 300°C have a spectral region of sample 495nm – 500nm with transmission peak 20-25%.
