Network characterization of power plant ownership in Luzon, Philippines

Abstract

We study co-ownership connections for electric power plants found in Luzon using complex network tools. Co-ownership data downloaded from the Department of Energy website were analyzed using Gephi. Results indicate critical common ownership patterns that may affect energy supply and pricing in the country.
