Abstract

This paper aims to show the plausibility of having a carbon nanotube accelerator with ice as a bullet. The results garnered through our initial simulations show that a number of protons were rapidly accelerated and eject from the nanotube accelerator. The oxygen ions in the system were ejected in pulses and residual protons remained in the accelerator even after no oxygen ions were present in the nanotube.
