Abstract

The Radiation Model was used in linear and random geometric networks to investigate the effect of network topology to the steady-state population distribution to all nodes. It was found that for isolated pairs, the population would tend to move towards the node who received more immigrants from the first iteration. For a linear network, the population would tend to the center-most node/s. Lastly, for a random geometric network, the population would tend to move towards the node with the highest degree.
